CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is a patented glass product ideally suited for realizing frameless fire protection flush glazing solutions for interiors. The sheets are constructed using two or more tempered single-sheet layers of safety glass with intumescent interlayers, which expand in the event of a fire and have insulating properties. Based on nanotechnology, the fire-retardant interlayer is UV-resistant and outstanding for its exceptionally high light transmission. Frameless glazing in the vertical plane, using this fire safety glazing in combination with silicone joints, creates new possibilities in design, allowing architectural solutions to be realized that go far beyond the solutions known today. |
