Fire – High Performance Laminated Security Glass

Our Studio Protect product range covers laminated security glass, which corresponds to specific security classifications. The security classes are based on the properties of their functions. The achievement of the security class is defined by an official test using test procedures according to EN standards and guidelines.

For our glass compositions, we are able to use two different special glass types (Diamant and Planilux) as foundation of any security glass. Since our highest level of laminated security glass likely reaches 85mm in thikness the use of Planilux as its basis can lead to a slightly green appearance whereas its possible to achieve a very high clarity by the use of Diamant glass for your fully transparent security glass solution (see illustration).

Studio Protect is eligible for interior and exterior applications and can be processed to many multi-functional features (fire-resistance, alarm-glass, etc.) as well as multi-comforts (decorative elements etc.). All solutions meet the aesthetic demands of modern architecture.
