SVP locks automatically lock doors after each closing cycle – offering the ultimate in both convenience and security. The automatic deadbolt projection of 20 mm ensures that the door is always locked in accordance with property insurance requirements. The additional anti-trust engagement of the claw bolt latch provides two-point locking for enhanced security. Meanwhile, the emergency escape function means that the door can be opened at any time in the exit direction by simply operating the lever handle. Mechanical opening from the outside remains possible at any time via a key to unlock the europrofile or round cylinder insert.

Product Benefit | Convenient, safe and secure The SVP 5000 emergency escape lock is particularly suitable for apartment or house doors, as well as project build doors for which no status monitoring is required. Thanks to the emergency escape function, the door can be readily opened by simply operating the lever handle, while the automatic relocking mechanism ensures secure lock re-engagement once the door has closed. As the lock is purely mechanical, there is none of the usual, sometimes complex cabling work required at the door. Installation or retrofitting is therefore particularly simple – the existing mortise lock merely needs to be replaced by the SVP 5000 unit. TV 500 and TV 500 DCW® are available with an angle strike plate for over-rebated doors or a flat strike plate for flush-closing doors. Also the well-known Easy Adapt latch guide is available as an option. All versions have an internal feedback contact for monitoring of activated/de-activated status and are ready for application at fire and smoke doors. SVP locks are available in different models suitable for over-rebated or flush-closing timber doors and also narrow stile doors. They are likewise flexible in terms of their installation position thanks to the non-handed (universal) trip latch. They have been approved as emergency exit locks for doors in escape routes and for use on fire and smoke check doors. |
